The 2025 Take Stock in Children of Nassau senior class boasts 28 seniors, including students from West Nassau High School, above left, and Hilliard Middle-Senior High School. Collectively, the students had a 3.89 weighted grade point average.

Fish Talk: Amazing swamp day

Oh boy, God really came through again. I had another amazing day fishing Saturday with another great friend who God blessed me with.  It was my boss’ son, Michael Murray. He invited me to go fishing with him at the Okefenokee swamp. Yes, with all the alligators.

CIS students rock out

Anna Newhoff NCR Reporter   “I’m gonna have some fun. I’m gonna play my drum,” sang Les DeMerle, founder and artistic director of the Amelia Island Jazz Festival. He performed for Callahan Intermediate Schools fifth graders April 7. He also showed them simple rhythms and drumming techniques.
