Anna Newhoff NCR Reporter   A new aerial ladder truck enhances fire coverage in Nassau County. Firefighters now have more flexibility and faster response times in areas that previously had limited coverage.

Mike Thorn NCR Reporter   FPL representatives delivered meal kits to senior citizens June 18. The Westside Senior Center in Hilliard hosted the event, with Nassau County Council on Aging representatives assisting. The meal kits are in preparation for hurricane season.

Youth from First Baptist Church Hilliard prepare to board the bus for Camp Clarity Monday. The camp in Central, S.C. began Monday and continues through Friday. It is a Christ-exalting, gospel-saturated summer camp that aims to provide a balance of fun and spiritual growth for young people.

Children learn about magnifying God during River Road Baptist Church’s Vacation Bible School June 8-12. They created a variety of crafts and participated in exercises, song and dance throughout the week. Liberty Baptist Church hosted Redemption Ranch VBS June 9-11 with a western theme.
