No bid shall be modified, withdrawn or canceled for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the date and time set for receipt of Bids.

All Bidders were required to pre-qualify to the approval of the Owner as approved by the School Board on February 13, 2020.

Bidders shall attend a MANDATORY pre-bid conference with representatives of the Owner and Architect to discuss securities, contractor's work and storage areas and requirements for contractor's personnel working on the Project.

MANDATORY Site inspection and pre-bid conference will start at 1:00 p.m., local time, June 4, 2020.

Bidders shall submit all questions and requests for substitutions to the Architect no later than 5:00 p.m., local time, on June 12, 2020. Questions and requests submitted after this time shall not be considered.

APPEAL OF ZONING BOARD DECISION

The Hilliard Town Council will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at 7:00 p.m., in the Hilliard Town Hall Council Chambers, located at 15859 West County Road 108, to hear input regarding an appeal of a Zoning Board decision. The location may change to an online Public Hearing if the State of Emergency continues. That decision will be made up to 7 days prior to the Public Hearing at that time further instruction on how to attend the online Public Hearing will be posted. 

Special Exception #20200204, submitted by and for Brenton Franklin was approved which would allow a dwelling unit for a caretaker or security guard on the property, on the condition that such dwelling unit be permitted and constructed as a separate structure. The property is located on the west side of US Hwy 1, between Henry Smith Road and Eastwood Road, at 37387 Henry Smith Road, Parcel ID No. 16-3N-24-0000-0023-0020. The appeal filed by Brenton Franklin is for the Town Council to overturn the condition.

Action on the matter may be taken following the closing of the Public Hearing at the regular meeting of the Hilliard Town Council.  A copy of the application is available for inspection and copying at Town Hall during normal business hours 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
