Nassau County hereby gives notice of the County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information on Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) 12089C0335F, an area generally located directly west of the intersection of Edwards Road and River Glen Parkway. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Case No. 25-04-0663R for the Tributary Phase 1B Units 12 & 13 developments, and will in part, revise the following flood hazards within the area of the revision.

1. Base Flood Elevations (BFEs) will increase, decrease, and be established along area of revision.

2. The Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) will increase, decrease, and be established along area of revision.

Maps and detailed analysis of the revision can be reviewed at the Nassau County Building Department located at 96161 Nassau Place Suite 1, Yulee, Florida 32097. Interested persons may call the Development Review Office at (904) 530-6251 for additional information.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD, on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM and the BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, will each hold a public hearing to consider the Ordinance titled below. These public hearings will take place at the Commission Chambers, James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida 32097. The Planning and Zoning Board and/or the Board of County Commissioners may continue hearings on this matter.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE 37, NATURAL RESOURCE PROTECTION, OF THE NASSAU COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE SPECIFICALLY SECTIONS 37.05 LANDSCAPING AND 37.06 BUFFERS BETWEETN CERTAIN USES; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearings and be heard. Copies of the Ordinance and supporting documentation are available for inspection in the Planning Department, 96161 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL 32097.
