For the Record   A new classmate joined some Nassau County students this school year, but this student has four legs. K-9 Max, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office’s newest canine, was deployed within the Nassau County School District as part of the NCSO’s partnership with the district.

Anna Newhoff NCR Reporter   Stitchers from all over western Nassau County come together to create quilts from the heart. The Country Star Quilt Guild formed in 2015, sewing together community, charity, and friendship one quilt at a time for a decade.

The Veteran Enforcers Motorcycle Association Jax 2025 Remembrance Ride honored Deputy Joshua Moyers Saturday. An overwhelming turnout from chapter riders caused a delay in initial start time. The ride started in Jacksonville and ended in Hilliard.

Callahan council approves Verizon site plan

Young athletes learn fundamentals

Fifth through eighth grade student-athletes learn fundamental skills and sharpen techniques at the Callahan Middle School volleyball camp July 29-31. The camp also helped prepare the students for the CMS volleyball team tryouts held Monday through today.
