Community rallies to aid fire victims

Anna Newhoff NCR Reporter   The community rose to the occasion to support a Hilliard family whose home was destroyed by fire Dec. 5.  The fire at 28247 Pike Road displaced two male adults and a child who will celebrate her 11th birthday Monday.

The 2024-25 West Nassau High School cheerleaders recently received their state, national and world championship rings. The team won the school’s 14th state championship in January and also won West Nassau’s fifth world championship and eighth national championship in February.
