NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, at a meeting to be held on Monday, the 28th day of July, 2025 at 5:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commission Chambers, located at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida, intends to consider for adoption the following proposed Ordinance:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 18 1/2 OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE TAXES AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS REGULATIONS OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA; ADOPTING ARTICLE VIII ENTITLED NASSAU COUNTY COMMERCIAL PROPERTY ASSESSED CLEAN ENERGY (C-PACE) ACT; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Nassau County hereby gives notice of the County’s intent to revise the flood hazard information on Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) 12089C0330F and 12089C0335F, an area generally located 4,000 feet south of the intersection of State Road 200 and Tributary Drive. Specifically, the flood hazard information shall be revised along several unnamed wetlands and ponding areas from a point approximately 2500 feet downstream of Police Lodge Road to a point approximately 350 feet upstream of Estuary Way.
As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall increase, decrease, and be established, and the 1% annual chance floodplain shall widen, narrow, and be established within the area of revision.
