The Nassau County Value Adjustment Board is seeking special magistrates per FS 194.035 to hear appeals of real estate valuation and tangible personal property valuation (Appraiser Magistrates); and exemption, classification, and portability transfers and determination that a change of ownership or control, or a qualifying improvement has occurred (Attorney Magistrates). These are seasonal, temporary appointments. The Board offers a guaranteed minimum for travel time and services.
