NOTICE

Nassau County, in accordance with National Flood Insurance Program regulation 65.7(b)(1), hereby gives notice of the Countys intent to revise the flood hazard information on Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) 12089C0335F and 12089C0351G generally located east of Interstate 95, and south of State Road 200. The flood hazard revisions are being proposed as part of Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR) Case No. 24-04-6493R for the Liberty Cove development. Once the project has been completed, a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) request will be submitted that will, in part, revise the flood hazards for revise the flood hazards along Nassau River. As a result of the revision, the 1% annual chance water-surface elevations shall be established and the special flood hazard area (SFHA) will increase, decrease and be established within the area of revision.
