NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals, in duplicate, will be received by the Town of Hilliard at the Town Hall, 15859
West County Road 108, Hilliard, Florida, 32046 until Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM
EST, at which time and place all proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Proposals can
be mailed, sent via overnight delivery or hand delivered. The Bidder is fully responsible for
delivering the bid to Town Hall prior to the date and time specified above. Bids received after that
time will be returned unopened to the Bidder.
Bidders are invited to submit proposals for:
CONSTRUCT BOX HANGAR BUILDING
The Project work includes design and build work for a new box hangar building at Hilliard Airpark.
There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference at the Hilliard Town Hall, 15859 West County Road 108, Hilliard, Florida, 32046 on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM. A site visit to the Airpark will follow.
Bidders are invited to submit Proposals for this work on the Proposal Forms provided. Other proposal forms will not be accepted. The complete examination and understanding of the Contract Documents consisting of the Plans and Project Manual (including specifications), and all addenda or other revisions, and Site of the proposed work is necessary to properly submit a Proposal.
Contract Documents consisting of the Plans and Project Manual, and all addenda or other revisions will be available for examination or may be obtained from the offices of the AECOM, 7650 W. Courtney Campbell Causeway, Tampa, FL 33607, Attn: Diane Kline, Email:
diane.kline@aecom.com or Phone: (813) 636-2139. There is no charge for each electronic copy
set (PDF) of the Contract Documents. Hard copies will not be distributed. Return of the Contract Documents is not required. Contractor must obtain the Contract Documents from AECOM in order
to receive Addenda from AECOM.
A Bid Bond in the form as bound in the Contract Documents or Certified Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid must accompany each Bid.
Successful Bidder shall be required to execute and to provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond each in an Amount of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total value of the
Contract awarded to him with a satisfactory surety or sureties for the full and faithful performance of
the work.
The Town of Hilliard, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. 2000d) and 49 CFR, Part 26 Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Programs, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that disadvantaged business enterprises are afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in
consideration for an award.
