PUBLIC NOTICE

The Board of Commissioners of the Florida Inland Navigation District announces public meetings to which all persons are invited.

DATES AND TIMES:

5:00 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024, and 8:00 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2024.

PLACES:  The Thursday night event, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (weather permitting) will initiate at the Fernandina Beach City Marina, 1 North Front Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034 and will include a waterway tour of the Intracoastal Waterway (seating is limited). Fridays meeting will be held in a conference room at the Hampton Inn & Suites Amelia Island, 19 S. 2nd Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034.

PURPOSES: 

On Thursday evening, October 17, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the District will be hosting a Community Outreach Event to provide an opportunity for the Districts Commissioners and staff to meet and discuss waterway-related issues with local public officials, community leaders and the public.  The event is free and open to all members of the public. RSVP is requested as space on the vessel is limited.  On Friday morning, October 18, 2024, beginning at 8:00 a.m., a public meeting of the District's Board of Commissioners will be held to conduct the regular business of the District. The Districts Personnel Committee and Finance and Budget Committee may also meet.
