House, brush fires spark

Anna Newhoff NCR Reporter   A home in the Plummer Creek neighborhood was destroyed by a fire Thursday night. A Nassau County Fire Rescue incident report states the fire started at 7:20 p.m. in the garage of Toni and Jason Rogers’ home at 78702 Goldfinch Lane, Yulee.

School board talks millage, Callahan consolidation

Drought continues in Northeast Florida

Anna Newhoff NCR Reporter   Brown grass and low river levels can be found throughout Nassau County due to the significant drought conditions in the southeastern United States. According to drought.gov, 100% of Nassau County faces an extreme drought.
