Anna NewhoffNCR Reporter The community rallied together as 600 acres burn in three Hilliard wildfires.The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners officially placed Nassau County under a burn ban April 15. Two days later, three wildfires caught fire in Hilliard.

County CNAs achieve 100% passing rate

Nassau County School District students in the Certified Nursing Assistant program achieved a 100% pass rate on their industry certification exams. All students earned their CNA certification, allowing them to enter the healthcare workforce immediately after graduation.
The Girls on the Run club at Callahan Intermediate School crossed the finish line of their 5K goal at the University of North Florida Saturday. Third-grader Isabella Williams, 8, finished in the top 20 runners of more than 2,000 participants. The girls spent weeks practicing for the run and ran with buddies as they learned to set goals and believe in themselves. Submitted
