NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSIDER ENACTMENT OF AN ORDINANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nassau County Planning and Zoning Board will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 6:00pm or soon thereafter as the matter to be heard regarding the proposed Ordinance.  The public hearing will be held at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida 32097.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ARTICLE 28 OF THE NASSAU COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO ADD SECTION 28.24, TINY HOME DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM: SPECIFICALLY PROVIDING PURPOSE; DEFINITIONS; ELIGIBILITY AND LOCATION REQUIREMENTS; RENTAL REQUIREMENTS; DESIGN AND REVIEW STANDARDS; ANCILLARY SUPPORT USES AND STRUCTURES; REPORTING, MONITORING, AND PENALTY; AND PROHIBITIONS; AMENDING ARTICLE 32 OF THE NASSAU COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE TO ADD A DEFINITION FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK OR TRAVEL TRAILER PARK; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and to be heard.  Copies of the proposed Ordinance and supporting information are available for inspection in the Planning Department, 96161 Nassau Place, Yulee, FL 32097.  Comments may also be directed in writing to the Planning Department, e-mailed to planning@nassaucountyfl.com, or received by telephone at (904) 530-6320.  All comments will become part of the record in this matter and subject to Florida's public records law.
