Edwards commits to FSCJ
Tristan Edwards will play softball for the Blue Wave at Florida State College at Jacksonville. She received a scholarship that will cover tuition costs.
Edwards will pursue a degree in elementary education so that she can become a first grade teacher. She is the daughter of Sharon and Ronald Edwards of Hilliard. Her family includes sister Taylor, 20.
Edwards has served as a strong catcher for Hilliard, which finished as the regional runner-up this season and in 2018. She also plays well at first base and in the outfield.
