Eagle Scouts hold Court of Honor
Caleb Webb, Dalton Clifton and Layne Clifton from Callahan Boy Scout Troop 351 officially became Eagle Scouts at the Court of Honor ceremony Dec. 15. This the highest honor achievable in Boy Scouts. These Life Scouts earned at least 21 merit badges and demonstrated scout spirit by living the Scout Oath and Scout Law. They also completed extensive Eagle Scout projects that they planned, organized, led and managed. Layne and Dalton Clifton each raised more than $700, which they used to donated essential items to the Ronald McDonald House and The Arc of Jacksonville in June. Caleb Webb created a memorial to all veterans at the Jacksonville National Cemetery on Lannie Road in June. Webb and fellow scouts from Troop 351 planted five live oak trees and placed five benches and a memorial plaque representing the five branches of the military.
