Sheriff Bill Leeper meets with Jackie Markham’s daughter at the 10th annual Missing Adults Day at Jacksonville City Hall Feb. 28. Markham is one of six missing adults from Nassau County who were included in the 48 individuals highlighted during the ceremony, which included missing persons from six North Florida counties. Those missing who were remembered from Nassau County were Melissa Bodden, Markham, Theresa Maxwell, Christopher Pollen, Richard Rider and Rick Earl Taylor. Markham disappeared Dec. 14, 2000 at the age of 51. She was last seen outside the former Eckerd Pharmacy in Callahan.
