NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of County Commissioners of Nassau County, Florida, intends to consider for adoption the following proposed ordinance:

ORDINANCE 2017 - _____

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2016-15, WHICH IMPOSED A MORATORIUM ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSING FACILITIES AND ACCEPTANCE AND PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF NASSAU COUNTY FOR A PERIOD OF 180 DAYS; SPECIFICALLY AMENDING SECTION 5, IMPOSITION OF TEMPORARY MORATORIUM TO EXTEND THE MORATORIUM FOR AN ADDITIONAL NINETY (90) DAYS ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSING FACILITIES AND ACCEPTANCE AND PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS IN THE UNINCORPORATED AREAS OF NASSAU COUNTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Public hearings on the ordinance will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 3:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, and on Monday, June 12, 2017 at 6:00 P.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Commission Chambers, located at the James S. Page Governmental Complex, 96135 Nassau Place, Yulee, Florida.

Copies of the Ordinance are available at the Clerk’s Office at the Robert M. Foster Justice Center, located at 76347 Veterans Way, Yulee, Florida, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., except legal holidays.

THE PUBLIC IS INVITED TO BE PRESENT AND BE HEARD.     The Project work includes removal and replacement of existing chain link fencing (approximately 1,450 LF) and one (1) gate. The project also includes replacing two ditch crossings and clearing and grubbing along the fence line. 
    A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for 10:00 AM EDT, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Town Hall, 15859 West County Road 108, Hilliard, Florida.  A site visit of the Airpark and the project areas will follow the Pre-Bid meeting.
    Bidders are invited to submit Proposals for this work on the Proposal Forms provided.  Other proposal forms will not be accepted.  The complete examination and understanding of the Contract Documents consisting of the Plans and Project Manual (including specifications), and all addenda or other revisions, and Site of the proposed work is necessary to properly submit a Proposal.
    Contract Documents consisting of the Plans and Project Manual, and all addenda or other revisions are available for examination or may be obtained from the offices of the AECOM, 7650 W.
